European Parliament passes resolution on fundamental rights

Euro-deputies in Strasbourg on Wednesday passed a resolution on fundamental rights that will assess member state compliance with basic EU values and the rule of law. Deputies cited access to sexual and reproductive health services, gay rights, minorities, migration, rise of extremism and roll-back of press freedoms as major concerns.
