Germany wants Britain in EU, warns about 'cherry picking'

BERLIN - "We want to the UK to stay in the EU," German foreign minister Westerwelle said Wednesday after British PM Cameron announced a referendum on Britain's EU membership in 2017. Westerwelle said "not everything needs to be decided by Brussels", but insisted there should be no "cherry picking" by member states.
