EU plans one socket for electric vehicles

The European Commission will consider the so called Type 2 interface as a common socket for the recharging points of electric vehicles. Industry commissioner Antonio Tajani said: “I believe that a single European recharging interface for electric vehicles will allow the EU to become a global leader in the sector.”
