Irish minister in Iceland for EU accession talks

Irish Europe minister Lucinda Creighton has visited Iceland for talks on the country's bid to join the EU. The visit on Thursday is part of a tour of all EU candidate countries. Creighton said she hoped to "open and close some negotiation Chapters" during Ireland's six-month presidency.
