Germany may ease Cyprus bailout resistance

Germany may ease its resistance and soon endorse a multi-billion euro bailout package for heavily indebted Cyprus, reports Süddeutsche Zeitung. The paper says German finance minister Wolfgang Schaeuble remains opposed but the combined resistance from eurozone countries, the European Commission, and the European Central Bank may force his hand.
