Lithuania pushes for free-trade deal with Ukraine

Lithuania’s vice foreign minister Vytautas Leskeviciu Monday urged EU leaders to signal willingness to approve a free-trade agreement with Ukraine. The signing has been delayed following the jailing of opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko, a former prime minister. Lithuania will hold the EU Presidency from 1 July.
