Horsemeat scandal is not health issue, says Brussels

The EU commission Monday said the horsemeat scandal is a labelling problem and does not represent a health issue. "We're not talking about a health issue here," said spokesperson. Under EU labelling rules processed food labels must list the ingredients but not their origin, amid confusion over the horsemeat origins.
