France approves same-sex marriage bill

Deputies in France's national assembly approved a bill on Tuesday that would allow for same-sex marriage. Before it is signed into law, the bill must first still pass through the Senate in April. Experts say it is likely the senate will give its consent, French daily Le Monde reports.
