EU patent court launched

EU ministers in Brussels on Tuesday launched the unified patent court. The court will aim to ensure patent laws are applied uniformly throughout signature countries. "It will give enterprises greater access to patent protection at European level, and make enforcement of patents affordable," said Ireland's minister for employment.
