Cyprus adopts solidarity fund to receive EU-IMF bailout

The Cypriot parliament has voted to create a solidarity fund to pool state assets, a measure aimed at raising the €5.8 billion required to receive a €10 billion EU-IMF bailout. MPs are also expected to restructure Cyprus' Laiki bank Saturday. Eurozone finance ministers are to discuss the deal Sunday.
