Greek bank merger plan suspended

Plans to merger National Bank and Eurobank and form the biggest banking group in Greece have been suspended until both banks are recapitalised, an official said on Sunday, Reuters reports. The plan raised concerns at the troika of lenders' that the bank would become too big relative to Greece's GDP.
