Spanish unemployment at highest level since 1976

Spanish unemployment has passed the 6 million people mark to reach 27.2 percent of the workforce according to the National Statistics Institute in Madrid. A BNP Paribas bank analyst in London told Bloomberg it might hit 28 percent by year-end. It is already at its highest level since 1976.
