Malta may limit number of EU passports for sale

Malta's plan to sell EU passports for €650,000 has been criticised in other EU countries. It "risks being a backdoor route to reside anywhere in the EU," UK shadow immigration minister David Hanson told the Financial Times. Malta is now considering capping the number sold to 50 a year.
