Dutch cities to be tough on Romanian and Bulgarian workers

Two of the Netherlands' biggest cities, Rotterdam and The Hague, will deny tax or social security numbers to Romanians or Bulgarians who fail to pass housing and employment checks, reports the Dutch Algemeen Dagblad newspaper. Labour restrictions on Romanian and Bulgarian nationals will be lifted in January 2014.
