Irish banks not to be granted retroactive recapitalisation

It “doesn’t seem very likely” that Irish banks will get retroactive recapitalisation, Klaus Regling, head of the eurozone bailout Fund (ESM), told the Irish Times Monday. In a blow to Dublin's lobbying on the issue, Regling said such a move would be a very "complicated process” requiring member state unanimity.
