Failure to agree on savings law 'incomprehensible'

EU tax commissioner Algirdas Semeta Tuesday said that member states' failure to agree on a tax savings directive, which would shine a light on income earned by citizens with savings in other countries, was "incomprehensible" and "out of sync" with the EU mood. Austria and Luxembourg oppose a deal.
