Latvia prepares for euro despite no government

Latvia is set to join the eurozone in January despite the resignation of prime minister Valdis Dombrovskis in November, reports Reuters. Latvia's president Andris Berzin on Wednesday told reporters the country is still prepared to join the euro. "Of course, there can be some surprises," he said.
