Portugal wants cheap loans after bailout

Portugal is on track to leave the EU-IMF bailout mid-2014, but would benefit from a yet-to-be-agreed scheme of cheap loans in return for signing up to binding reform contracts, Portuguese EU affairs minister Bruno Macaes told Reuters. The German idea of binding contracts are on the EU summit's agenda Thursday.
