Ministers agree on fund for failed banks

Eurozone finance ministers agreed Wednesday morning on funding for the write-down of ailing banks. Banks will pay into a common €55 billion resolution fund over 10 years. However, if that is not enough, governments will be able to make further levies before tapping national taxpayers or the EU's bailout fund.
