Bank resolution compromise 'too complex,' Barnier warns

The compromise offered by ministers on bank resolution is "too complex" and could allow countries to "circumvent" a single system, the EU's financial services commissioner said. Speaking at a meeting of EU finance ministers Wednesday, Michel Barnier also expressed concern about role of the proposed inter-governmental treaty demanded by ministers.
