Irish bonds popular on international bond market

Ireland on Tuesday sold €3.75bn of bonds in the country's first entry into the international debt markets since exiting the EU-IMF bailout programme on 15 December. "This bodes well for upcoming issuance by other eurozone peripheral countries," Irish finance minister Michael Noonan said in a statement.
