NSA collected 200 million text messages a day

The US intelligence agency NSA collected up to 200 million global text messages a day, according to a joint report out Thursday by the Guardian newspaper and Channel 4 News. The NSA-led sweep is said to have targeted everyone except Americans. The data was also used by the UK's GCHQ.
