Malta to continue passport sale despite EU opposition

Malta's prime minister Joseph Muscat told reporters on Thursday that the government will go ahead with its plans to sell 1,800 passports to foreigners despite EU opposition, reports AP. The passports are being sold for €650,000 a piece. Muscat said they have already received a number of applicants.
