UK referendum bill delayed by House of Lords

UK prime minister David Cameron's plans to hold an 'in/out' referendum on EU membership suffered a set-back Friday after the House of Lords voted to amend the wording of the referendum question proposed in the bill. The bill, which would guarantee a referendum in 2017, must now return to MPs.
