Banks to repay billions in crisis loans

Banks are set to return some €3.7 billion in loans this week to the European Central Bank (ECB), reports Reuters. The ECB on Friday announced nine banks would repay their long-term refinancing operation (LTRO) crisis loans they had made in late 2011 and early 2012.
