Spain neutral on Scottish independence bid

Spain's foreign minister Joss-Manuel Garcia-Margallo told the Financial Times over the weekend that Madrid would not interfere with Scotland's bid for independence from the UK. “We don’t interfere in other countries’ internal affairs," he said. Madrid is opposing a growing Catalan independence movement, which wants to hold a referendum.
