EU 'shocked' at impact of roaming costs

EU commissioner Neelie Kroes Monday said she is "shocked" by data showing to what extent people curb their phone and internet use abroad due to roaming data. The European Commission numbers show more than 25% of travellers switch off their phones entirely, while 47% would never use mobile internet.
