Germany has EU's most polluting power plants

Germany has the largest number of highly-polluting energy plants in the EU, with some emitting as much CO2 as Slovenia, according to EU commission data obtained by Spiegel Online. Among the top 10 most polluting energy plants are five German coal-powered units. Top of the list is a Polish plant.

EU Modernisation Fund: an open door for fossil gas in Romania
