Over two-thirds of Maltese have voted

Over two-thirds of Maltese voters exercised their right to vote on Saturday, but by the country's standards it was the lowest turnout ever for EU elections, official turnout figures show: 74.81% compared to 78.8% in 2009. Turnout for the first EP elections in Malta, in 2004, was 82.4%.
