Profits of Irish-registered companies not taxed

The profits from around half of all Irish-registered companies cannot be taxed, reports the Irish Times. The paper, citing a Trinity college professor, says the companies fall outside the corporate tax net because many multinational subsidiaries in Ireland have declared themselves tax residents elsewhere.
