New Nato chief wants closer co-operation with EU

Nato's new secretary general Jens Stoltenberg will work for closer cooperation with the European Union, he said on his first day as head of the 28-nation military alliance. "We are covering very much the same geographical area," he said, adding that closer cooperation is particularly important for non-EU members.
