Polish foreign minister wants to resign

Just under four weeks before his country joins the EU, Polish foreign minister Wlodzimierz Cimoszewicz has, in an unexpected move, handed in his resignation.

The move, which was rejected by Polish prime minister Leszek Miller, comes after the Polish satirical magazine 'Nie' (No) published secret documents, including reports and emails, from within the foreign ministry.
