European Central Bank (ECB) president Jean-Claude Trichet has hinted that interest rates might be increased further during the coming months due to inflation.
Mr Trichet told MEPs in the economic and monetary affairs committee that a very strong credit growth, an expanding money supply, high fuel prices and rising wages are increasing price pressures.
