Denmark to call elections for mid-September

Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen is expected to announce on Friday that general elections will be held on 15 September, public broadcaster Danmarks Radio reports. The ruling liberal-conservative coalition has been in power since 2001 and was by law obliged to call for the new elections this autumn.
