ECJ backs France over Strasbourg Parliament sessions

The European Court of Justice has backed France in its dispute with the European Parliament, ruling that the assembly had breached treaty requirements for twelve plenary sessions per year after MEPs combined two sessions into one in October. The annual cost of the Strasbourg sessions is an estimated €200 million.
