Cameron gains in polls with EU referendum pledge

The first survey published since UK premier Cameron pledged an "in-out" EU referendum showed his Conservative party up two percent, to 31%, while the UK Independence Party was down by the same margin, to 14%. The Mail on Sunday poll showed Labour unchanged; leading at 38%.
