Dutch say No to EU budget top-up

Dutch finance minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem has said in a letter to national MPs that EU institutions should find the €11.2bn they need for 2012 and 2013 spending shortfalls via "possible savings elsewhere" instead of asking member states for extra money, AFP reports. The UK made a similar statement last week.
