EP committee greenlights emissions trading fix

Environment committee MEPs on Wednesday again voted in favour of a proposed delay in auctioning carbon permits, a move designed to fix the saturated emission's trading system. Plenary voted down the idea in April, but MEPs believe the re-worked compromise will have more support in plenary on 3 July.
