Former French FM attacks Barroso on TV

Former French foreign minister Juppe on Monday told French TV that EU commission chief Barroso is "completely archaic" in seeking an exemption-free EU-US trade deal. He said his views on the merits of globalisation belong to the 1950s: "The President of the European Commission dates somewhat from the last century."
