Syngenta takes EU to court over bee pesticides

Agrichemicals company Syngenta has submitted a legal challenge to the European Commission's decision to ban Thiamethoxam on crops pollinated by bees, the firm said Tuesday. Thiamethoxam was one of three pesticides banned for two years by the Commission in April over fears they caused a sharp decline in bee numbers.
