'Social tourism' voted non-word of the year in Germany

German linguists have voted the term "social tourism" as non-word of the year 2013. The Bavarian Conservatives (CSU) who are part of Chancellor Angela Merkel's Grand Coaliiton have stirred a debate with this term, applying to migrants allegedly coming from Romania and Bulgaria to Germany.
