Germany says US expletive on EU 'absolutely unacceptable'

German Chancellor Merkel's spokeswoman said Friday the leaked US expletive on EU diplomacy in Ukraine is "absolutely unacceptable" and EU foreign affairs chief Ashton is "doing an outstanding job." US official Nuland, who made the remark, said in Kiev Friday "It [the bugging operation] was pretty impressive tradecraft," AFP reports.
