Strong euro harming industry, says French minister

The strength of the euro is hampering France's attempts to improve the competitiveness of its economy, industry minister Arnaud Montebourg said in an interview with Les Echoes. Montebourg noted that the euro has gained 10 percent on the dollar and 40 percent on the Japanese Yen despite the euro crisis.
