Cyprus to ease capital controls

Cyprus is set to ease capital controls on Friday, reports The Guardian. The restrictions were put in place over a year ago to prevent a run on bank deposits following a €10 billion bailout. Cypriot authorities say all remaining controls could be lifted before the end of the year.
