EU grants €1.6bn loan to Ukraine

The European Commission on Wednesday decided to add another €1bn to the €600 million already offered to Ukraine in emergency loans, EU economics commissioner Olli Rehn said in a press conference. The money will be paid out once Ukraine signs up to an IMF program, he added.
