Merkel and Chinese President voice support for Ukraine

Chinese President Xi Jinping and German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday voiced support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine and urged Russia to abide by international law. China, a traditional ally of Russia, abstained in the UN Security council when a resolution was voted condemning the annexation of Crimea.
