Italy's Renzi and Grillo rising in popularity

Italian premier Matteo Renzi's centre-left Democratic Party and Bepe Grillo's anti-establishment Five-Star Movement (M5S) both saw their popularity rise in this week's polling by the Tecne institute ahead of the EU elections. Renzi polled at 30.9% while Grillo's movement polled 23.1%, ahead of ex-premier Berlusconi's Forza Italia at 22.1%.
