Slovakia to nominate Sefcovic as EU commissioner

Slovak PM Robert Fico has confirmed he will nominate Maros Sefcovic as Slovakia's next EU commissioner. Sefcovic, a member of the current EU's executive in charge of administration, campaigned for the ruling social democrats in the EP elections. He earned 66,966 of preferential votes, the highest number of all candidates.
