Britain to overtake France as second largest EU economy

The UK will become the second largest economy in the EU, overtaking France before 2020 and closing the gap with Germany according to new projections from economists at PricewaterhouseCoopers. The UK will be the fifth-largest economy in the world by 2020, after the US, China, Japan and Germany.
