Russian central bank to help blacklisted banks

Russia's central bank promised to support state-owned banks hit by EU and US sanctions this week, as stocks took a tumble in Moscow on Wednesday. In an online statement, the bank promised to "take adequate measures" to help ailing banks. VTB, Russia's second-largest bank, was down 1.2% on Wednesday.
